How do I apply for a home tutor?Please complete the online client registration form and you will be contacted by one of our team. Where do lessons take place, and when?The majority of lessons usually take place during the evenings and at the weekend as most children and tutors are available at this time. However, the exact time of the tuition is mutually agreed between yourself and the tutor/s. Tuition normally takes place in the client's home. Again, the venue can be agreed between the client and the tutor. Can the tutor teach more than one pupil at the same time?Many of the tutors are happy to teach more than one pupil at the same time. Tutors may choose to charge an additional fee for more than one student. What are the terms and conditions of Elite Home Tutors?These are detailed in our Terms and Conditions section. Please click here . Can the same tutor teach more than one subject?Yes, however sometimes it is difficult to find teachers who have expertise in more than one or two subject areas. What happens if I am not happy with one of the tutors?If you have any serious concerns regarding any of the tutors, then please contact us straight away. How do I cancel a lesson?You must give 24 hours notice, if you wish to cancel a lesson, otherwise the full fee must be paid. In cases of sudden illness or emergencies, we request that the client pays 50% of the fee as a gesture of good will. Please ring the tutor directly to re-arrange another appointment. If the tutor cancels a lesson, then he/she must provide alternative arrangements for the next lesson. From what age do your tutors take children for tuition?Our tutors take children normally from the age of 6 (year 1) onwards. Is there a registration fee?No How is the fee for the tuition paid?It is paid by cheque or cash at the end of each tuition, directly to the tutor. Could I negotiate the tuition fee with the tutor?No. Fees are agreed prior to tutoring taking place Are all the tutors fully qualified?We have an abundance of qualified tutors, both male and female, but we also recruit experienced graduates. |
